Come find your sanctuary and maybe yourself in this Tuesday evening candlelit Yin class.

Yin yoga offers the opportunity to sink deeper into your practise. We hold postures longer – anywhere between three to seven minutes. These longer holds allow us to work at shifting energy blockages in the body and thus move our nervous systems into a parasympathetic state. We work on an altogether deeper level. You chose what kind of practise you want to explore; it might be mindful, somatic, emotional or spiritual. And there is always the breath.

Functionally, Yin promotes and changes the flexibility of the body by affecting the deep connective tissues as opposed to just working the muscles. It's excellent for beginners, the injured and especially for those that want to carve out a space for self-care. It's a place where one can start to tackle physical / emotional baggage through asana.

A powerful flow class designed to work the core - you'll still sweat but also enjoy some longer holds when warming up and warming down.
